Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst kept his cards close to his chest once again Wednesday, declining to take a reporter’s bait about the U.S. Senate race in 2010.
The seat would only be vacant in that year if its current occupant, Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, R-Texas, steps down to make a run for governor.
